Who are we?

Club Records is a label - sort of. Founded on the idea that information should be free, Club Records was started as a way to share resources amongst musicians so that no one is ever discouraged from putting out music by all the “business stuff”.

Club Records is a queer owned and operated label and prides themselves on being a safe space for marginalized folks of all backgrounds.

MEET THE TEAM

  • Michael Watson is a producer, photographer, videographer and a musician themselves!   • Michael is currently working out of a home studio in Ottawa, Ontario equipped with a full drum kit, guitars, bass, and a collection of unique keyboards and soundmakers, everything you need to make your dream song.   • Whether you’re unable to come into the studio, or maybe just prefer to record on your own and are looking to take your sound to the next level, Michael is able to mix/edit your project remotely to help you achieve the best possible outcome!

  • With over ten years of experience playing and writing in bands as a drummer, guitarist, vocalist, etc, Michael is more than happy to play the role of session musician on your project - or simply just help you flesh out and arrange a song you need a little help with.

  • Hannah is a cartoonist, musician, videographer/photographer, and producer! She has been doing multimedia work in the music scene for as long as she can remember and fronts indie band “fanclubwallet”.   • Whether you’re stumped on how to mix your latest track, or you’re looking for a little additional shimmer, Hannah is excited to take on your project! She is currently not offering recording services but is happy to meet up with you to talk about your project if you’re located in Ottawa! Listen to her production playlist HERE

  • With over ten years of experience as an illustrator/artist, Hannah has created multiple designs for merch, album art, or just general promo. She is excited to bring your most crazy and fun ideas to life! Check out some of her artwork HERE
